Vast Journey

So much has happened in the last 2 yrs…quote below sums it up.

“I’d always thought that the most important thing in life is to have a goal and now I know that the goal is only secondary importance.
It’s the journey towards it that’s important. It’s on the journey that we best get to know ourselves as well as what our fellow pilgrims are like. It doesn’t matter whether it’s a toddler taking first steps or whether we are setting out to conquer the deep primeval forest or climbing the highest mountain in the world.” ~ Jindro Marthis

Secretly everyone longs for something. Waiting for something that will surprise or take their breath away however it’s temporary and shortly after dissatisfaction or emptiness sets in. We miss the true gem that comes from understanding that life isn’t only about achieving goals or things; but it’s the “journey through the human experience. “

…seeking things we think will make us happy. Looking for “That Something” …which often in the end leaves feelings of incompleteness. So we move on but shortly only to be dissatisfied again. This is frailty of human nature. “The Grass is greener on the other side syndrome”

I’ve learned life is not only about temporal satisfaction or achieving goals. It’s not the things that we take with us but the memories we leave behind. Good, bad or indifferent.

“Goals are not the means to an end but means to experience the journeys’ meaning.” ~Omifucius

…although It’s impossible to express much of my thoughts and experiences throughout my journey…I can say it has been intriguingly surprising. …

I’m thankful for friends with intertwining journeys and making it our unique experiences. Thank you for making the room and my life greener.

Wishing everyone with enlightened experiences. May it shape you, mold you and bless you.  -Omi

Riding the Wave

i feel sooo refreshed and clear headed...stress, overwork and lack of sleep can do strange things to mind. considering everything i'm proud of myself overcoming it all. flipping to next chapter of my life.

life is like surfing. you make efforts to paddle out to position urself for the right wave with patience. once you see wave you have to work again to catch it. Once in zone get up, ride the wave and flow. letting the wave carry you becoming as one.

work, patience, preparation, timing, balance,...get up flow with wave & repeat. more you do it easier it gets. and although there are more falls than rides the focus is on flowing with the waves and its beauty knowing that if the falls don't kill ya it will only make you stronger.. Yay surfing another wave! narley! :D

Synergy room

A room without synergy is a room with no team and without team there is no success.

My desire is to have a synergy room.  What that means to me is about friends who want to see success of the room by supporting in any capacity from making new friends, building numbers to tkn support, or just hanging out with the gang. Nothing is too small and everything helps working collectively.  Any energy combined together can create a magnetic force that can make a change. Silly as it may sound I do have plans other than MFC to help make a difference in ways many will not understand until it’s revealed. (Note: Plz contact me if you have opened a non-profit organization)

I believe we are all part of a collective link that has been disconnected thru governed business-society and modern day slavery.  We’re like a body; every part is important with overall function.  A head without the body is useless. No pun ;)  It’s not just “my” room but “ours”, not “I” nor “you” but “we”. This is about us working together to build  “Our Room” with vision, purpose, and success. In turn, taking pride in ownership, development, and the confidence that your support is being put towards positive usage.

Thank you all for being part of past, present and future. Mostly thank you in advance for holding my hands encouraging with comfort and direction.

I hope this resonates with you.

Sincerely your roomie,

Omi

#13 Break Thru or bad luck

Gregorian calendar new year has passed but the Chinese new year is still to come Feb 10. Think I put my dues & I'm really looking for a breathing change. ....so much on my mind....

Dragon year is almost gone and although it had it's purpose of reflection/learning i'm anxious for 2013 Snake year. According to my calendar; 2013 is start of break through & also my make it or break it year.

#13 some say it's bad luck but means rebellion...either way 13th was the day I was born & seems fitting with my struggles throughout my life... so needless to say I'm excited to see what 2013 breakthrough year has in stored while keeping my options open.

...interesting, call it coincidence but even camscore seems to align with what i was told and learned. ...dropped 3000 pnts & now same score as 2 yrs ago... almost to say "here's a mulligan start again."

I'm uber excited for coming year, but at the same time a lil apprehension sigh of reality.

Christmas?

Christmas is coming soon and has many different meanings to people or maybe the society has turned on the true meaning which is more than Santa or gifts. Whether one is religious or not I believe it's important to perserve its true meaning. While many other religious celebrations or ceremonies are not tampered nor injecting changes it seems double standards with bias when it comes to Christian context. i.e. Easter = easter bunny? Christmas = Santa Claus? No longer "Merry Christmas" but rather Happy Holidays so not to offend and keep generic...

Somehow Christmas seems to have lost its meaning and have gotten commercial. Maybe it's just me but now when I hear holiday music in stores rather than giving me cheer seems to give me pressure. All I hear in some music is buy buy buy, hurry hurry hurry, pressure pressure ... people seem to be more stressed at this time. Contradictory in ways for what the holiday suppose to represent...

I'm humbly grateful for what Christmas represents and what it has done for the world however I do reject the commercialized version that gives stress rather than peace...in the end I believe Christmas represent Peace thru Love...

...with receiving and accepting the right heart; Christmas will end in the right place not only once a year but everyday of the year.

Merry Christmas to all and to all a good cheer. Blessings

I Love...

I find it interesting that English word for Love is simply Love where often others have clearer definition. i.e. in Greek 4 major kinds of love: Storge – affection, Philia – friendship, Eros – romance, Agape – unconditional love.

In English loving a donut vs loving a person can be put in same context. Maybe this is why "I love you" has less of a meaning in today's society.

Pube?

From the early days of lacking questions like “r u shaved bb?” I think and laugh seeing that even pubes has its fashion trends.

From Bushy bushel, to Landing strip, Hitler ‘stache , Mohawk, Brazillian, to Bare Hollywood…whatever the preference; ultimately it is a humorous thought. I should start a new trend spiky pubes and call it Horny Hunter.

Some women may do it for aesthetics, comfort, for their partner, etc but whatever the reason; for peeps to make a judgment on individuals’ character based upon pubic hair seems idiocracy.

…so whatever design preference, have fun with it and maybe even try few different styles. Who knows it might be fun :P
